At HighGate Dental Clinic, the technology we use, such as digital and panoramic X-rays, helps us provide patients with optimal dental care.
Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
The technology we use at HighGate Dental Clinic aids in treatment planning and should make your dental appointments run more smoothly.
We can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan because we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms.
Our goal is to provide patients with dental care while making sure they are fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology helps us do that.
Digital X-Rays
Instead of traditional photographic X-ray film, digital X-rays use digital sensors. They generate detailed computer images of teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions, allowing your dentist to examine parts of your mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays let your dentist create a single image of your entire mouth. The teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints, and nasal and sinus structures are all represented flat in this image. Panoramic X-rays are frequently used in planning for dentures, extractions, and implants.
